Christmas Crafting Items

Christmas Cotton FabricsHello Christmas crafting merrymakers.

Normally, I will be doing a single haul post each month to show you all my Christmassy buys.

However, I have bought so much great Christmas crafting stuff from Hobbycraft this month that I’m giving it a post all on its own. Plus, lots of you on Instagram are already starting your festive Christmas makes. So I thought it would be a timely post for all you out there on the lookout for supplies.

Here are all the lovely things I have bought this month from Hobbycraft:

Christmas Paper Pads

> Enchanted Christmas paper pad: 24 double sided sheets in 12 designs, this was £5.

> Wonderful time of year paper pad: 36 single sided sheets in 12 designs, this was £8.

I have already used both of these in my photographs for here on the website and Instagram. I’m loving the colour palette and designs. Some are also foiled for the magpies amongst you.

Holly Christmas FabricCotton Fat Quarters

> Grey deck the halls cotton fat quarters: This is a 5 pack of beautiful fabrics designed by Debbie Shore. They are approx 46 x 56cm in size, these were £6.

> Holly metallic cotton fat quarters: Another wonderful 5 pack of fabrics suitable for Christmas crafting. Also approx 46 x 56cm in size, these were £6.

Again, these have been perfect for using in my photos on Instagram and also for the website. However, I’m sure those of you out there more talented with a needle and thread will be able to turn these into creative Christmas sewing makes. All of them would also make stunning Christmas tablecloths if you bought a larger fabric piece.

Christmas Crafting ToppersChristmas Decorations

I also bought several items that I would call Christmas crafting basics, they are not decorations on their own, but items you can craft into Christmas decorations.

> Hanging round wooden slice 20cm: This is real wood and great quality. I have been looking for one of these for ages and at £3.50 was much cheaper than I could find elsewhere.

> White washed wooden star: They do this in 2 sizes, this 10cm one was £2, but you can get a 15cm one for £4.

> Wicker heart wreath 15cm: I love Christmas wreaths, I don’t just have one for the front door, I have something on every door at Christmas. They had quite a few different shapes and sizes, but I was restrained and only bought the one I actually needed, a small heart one, it was £2.80

> Metal bird decoration 8cm: This is really cute. An actual ready to go Christmas tree decoration if you wanted to use it that way, and it was £1!

Topper Sets

I also bought lots of topper, letter and number sets. I won’t go through all of them but everything I bought was great quality and value at £1-4 per set, my favourites are below.

> Red and white wooden alphabet 78 pack: I got 4 packs at £1 each so that I have enough letters for all red and all white arrangements.

> Wooden letter tiles 114 pieces: Scrabble effect wooden letters, they were £4 and have a good selection of letters, I can spell most things with just one pack.

> Assorted Merry Christmas wooden toppers: A 36 pack of Christmas toppers, 4 each of 9 designs. Santa, reindeer, snowman, gift, Merry Christmas, letter, houses, wreath and Christmas tree.

Merry and BrightSo that is it for now, they mainly had papercraft and a few haberdashery items in stock so far. Which means I didn’t get the baking items I was after. A great excuse to go back in a few weeks! I will let you know if I buy anymore.

Whether you are buying your craft supplies from Hobbycraft or elsewhere. I love to see Christmas crafting makes. Tag me in and follow me on Instagram so I can see what you have all been busy creating @joyfullyfestive.
